Stafford Music and MusicQuest are the best places in the area to rent your school band and orchestra instruments. We might be a little biased, but our instruments, rental plans, service and support really are the best in the area.

Rental price is only one of the factors you need to consider when renting an instrument for your child's school education. What happens when the instrument needs servicing? How long will it take to fix? What happens if your child decides to quit playing music or wants to change instruments? How easy is it for you to contact the people you are renting from? This is where we outshine the competition. Check out our advantages.

Our instruments are high quality, student tested, sturdy instruments that take the rough handling that students invariably put them through.

While we have plenty of new instruments to rent each year, we also have plenty of reconditioned "like new" instruments that are perfect (and even preferable) for first-time musicians. Our reconditioned instruments are generally only a year or two old and are rebuilt each summer to keep them in top working condition.

We own the instruments we rent and take pride in their quality and upkeep. Most of our competition rent someone else's instruments and have no vested interest in their condition.

All of your repairs are done here in our store. Your instrument isn't shipped off to some facility out-of-state as happens elsewhere. Your instruments are fixed quickly, even the same day for minor repairs. Other stores take weeks and charge you for their shipping costs. And if that's not enough, with us you can even talk directly to the person fixing your instrument.

All of our rentals are "rent-towards-ownership". All of your rent payments go toward building equity in your rented instrument. If your child continues to play, in generally less than two years, you'll own the instrument.

We have a unique "trade-in / trade-up" program. If your child decides to change instruments, say from clarinet to trombone, 100% of the equity you built up in the clarinet transfers to the trombone rental. If your child wants to upgrade to a professional grade instrument, the same thing applies. We make it easy for you

You can return your rented instrument at any time if your child decides that playing music isn't for them, without any early return penalties.

We are a family music business that has been here in Stafford for more than twenty years. We know the area, the schools, the school music teachers and their programs. We are here everyday. We are so much more than the out-of-state 1-800 number the competition gives you.

Please be wary of the instruments you find at non-music retail stores and at online auctions sites.

We are seeing a flood of poorly built and counterfeit instruments coming into the country. While they look bright and shiny and come with "can't believe" low prices, heartbreak awaits you when you find that they don't play well, they break easily and can't be repaired.

Real, well built, heavy-duty, student quality instruments are expensive. They are expensive because they are built from materials that last and that perform well.
